Nebari (Classic)

Nebari was an open-source Kubernetes-based internal developer platform focused on data science workloads - JupyterHub, Dask, MLflow, conda environments, and multi-cloud deployment across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

I was tech lead during the Quansight years: drove architectural evolution from a domain-specific data science tool toward a general-purpose IDP, introduced the security reporting procedures and response playbooks the project still uses, opened and drove closure of 45+ security issues across IaC scanning, container scanning, and secrets detection, and designed the software pack extensibility model that became the foundation of its successor.

Nebari classic is now deprecated. NIC and the Nebari Kubernetes Platform are the current iteration, built on the lessons learned here.
